The Future (of Business) is Female

Futerra Sustainability Communications’ goal is to make ‘sustainable development so desirable it becomes normal’ by helping companies committed to doing good, grow. They say that building a business that’s socially and ecologically conscious is totally doable if you’ve got the right strategy. They think they have the goods to deliver.

Instead of fighting economic development Futerra aims to elevate – elevate the organizations who work to grow our economy a thoughtful, inclusive way.

What’s this look like? From their offices in London, San Francisco and around the world they’re working with brands like Kering – the company behind Gucci – and even the ubiquitous H&M to understand the impact their business has on the environment, from sourcing fabric all the way to the store shelves.

It turns out that deep support in the communities where they do business creates an upward spiral for all.

Basically, they’re cooler than Mad Men could ever hope to be. We’re betting Futerra is THE future of business philosophy.
