Remembering Alexis Arquette: Cosmic Genderfluid Actor

We remember actor and trans rights activist, Alexis Arquette, who died last year. Per Alexis’ request, the family members cheered upon his/her passing.

Alexis inhabited many roles, both on and off the camera. Onstage, s/he stole the show in The Wedding Singer and Pulp Fiction, wowing us all with his/her gender-bending charisma.

Off stage, you may know her/him as a transgender rights activist who denied playing any role that stereotyped the LGBTQ community. Instead, s/he was an icon who encouraged the radical acceptance of identity and gender exploration.

“Yeah, sometimes I’ll be a man, sometimes I’ll be a woman. I like to refer to myself as gender suspicious.”

Alexis died with Bowie’s ‘Starman’ playing in the background. We’re pretty sure the two of them are throwing a party in the stars right now.
